This is one of the biggest tangled messes I've seen and it's almost as if they (Netanyahu) wants it to be tangled and messy. I understand that Hamas came into Israel and murdered and kidnapped but what Israel is doing is not being done in the name of peace. Especially where it's been proven they had clear information of what and when Hamas would attack. Netanyahu let it go on purpose so that he could once and for all had a reason to take Gaza and the West Bank. I've always hated that guy.

Yet and still, despite the enormous pressure Biden is getting from publicans who stridently and stubbornly support Israel as well as from too-eager Mideast countries, I understand Biden is trying to defuse Israel’s fervor behind the scenes. Diplomacy cannot take place in front of cameras. I know it calls for unreasonable patience and grievous past errors haunting us are not helping. But let us please hold our breath for an imminent solution. It cannot go on like this.
Agreed. The House resolution was appalling in the face of the slaughter and Netanyahu bragging how he deceived the Americans. When Finance Minister Smotrich can refer to Palestinians as "2 million Nazis living in Gaza" he articulates the Apartheid and genocidal goals of the Netanyahu government.
